Yesterday I was just watching television (that is a very rare happening) and specifically the news channels that litter our airwaves. It was saddening to see, that the media is beating about the whole issue of Shoaib and sania and ayesha being blown out of proportion and being turned into a giant circus while simply sidelining the whole issue of loss of lives to a simple bulletin across the bulletin board. Has humanity died within our hearts and have we lost all empathetic ties to our fellow being in a different part of the country, and all of a sudden a juicy soap opera being played out in real life, is more important than the issues of violence in the country, Someone needs to teach the News channels a thing or two about media ethics.
But still the question remains have we become numb to all the violence? Does us not noticing it or even feeling a slight tinge of the loss of a fellow human's life? Will our ignoring it make the problem go away no it does not all it does is rob us of our humanity.
And what Ive written above is universal, I guess everyone can relate to that.
