Thoughts on my 21st Birthday!

28th of April 2010, 21 years ago, at 11;30 in the morning I was born, and so started the diary, that I call today the book of DarkMystic.


21 is a an important milestone in one's life. And as I look back, I am thank full to all the friends that  I have made in past many years, who have made life's journey so far very memorable.


Life is full of change, and from a shy skinny boy, Life has changed and molded me into the confident and dynamic person  I am today and continue to grow on that path. 


For this growth I have my parents to thank and the numerous teachers who have influenced my life over the years none more prominent than my principle at Hamdard Madam Munira Gulzar and the Legend himself Hakim Muhammad Said.


and I hope that I can become the Man that my parents. my teachers, have seen within me, and may Allah allow me to realize my true potential.

Bayrukhi-e-mehboob

This is in response to all the comments I got that, why do I always write about death, betrayal, human angst,and why do I have to be dark all the time, well this is an attempt to write something about love,


its in urdu, so far  have been unable to do a thematic translation of this couplet.






Phollo kay is des may, bayrukhi-e-mahboob ban gayi aik kanta

Truth Within!!

Alone sitting in my room..
all i see is the darkness
binding me to the finite place
all i do is hide...
the truth within me,eating me away

Cutting myself up, bleeding the truth out..
dying,, yet living lost in the the limbo of finity.
where everyone gone, blinded by the red
the Truth within, eating me away

Left alone to die in my misery
No one Cares, No one Knows, Don;t give a fuck.
bleeding liars, cloaked in deception
Blinding me, Twisting the truth.
Hey.... THe truth within eating me away

Groping in Darkness, trying to hold.
to find the light , my lost sanity
twisted up, no more left to bleed inside
Lost in the shadows of my mind

Closed Doors!!!

How many times we have heard that, when the door of opportunity closes another one opens up?
Then why do we often missed this new chance?

THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE

Because we for too long brood over the missed opportunity, if an opportunity is gone its gone,  simply don;t loose hope, and don;t brood over it,move on to better things.

For too often do we brood too much over the past, neglecting to live in the present and forsaking our future.

remember, never give up, and simply never brood over what was, think what can be? and go live your life, and make the best out of it.

Sting of Betrayal!!

the sting of betrayal hurt
piercing my heart so deep
draining the warmth inside
leaving the cold.... Darkness
Consuming me, hurting me... From within
,feels like a forsaken dream
wake me up,save me, wake me
help me take the thorn in my heart
heal me, save me from this darkness...
consuming me from within..

the sting of betrayal hurt,

all i feel is the demon evoking within
eating away inside my mind
losing a sense of self

The Struggle !!

Not exactly the best of my work, but had to get it out all the emotional and all the frustrations, I think quite a few might be able to relate to what i am trying to convey here.





Everythng is a struggle trying to do it all by myself
No one to help, No one to support, self relaince all the way
y can't you take up the mantle, understand the situation
stop whining don;t you know, 2 kinds of people
the whiners and the responsble ones, do u wanna be
always lke this,making up all the excuses, making my life..
making my life, oh i don;t know tough i guess.
Everyday I ask myself, am i the only one, am i the one
so hey you listen to me now, no more excuses.
no more crying, no more blame games, just gotta do, what we gotta do
do u understand can;t stand no more, breaking my back.
trying to make up the slack, left by you
so just lend me a hand and lets make it all easy..

Has Humanity Left Us??????

Yesterday I was just watching television (that is a very rare happening) and specifically the news channels that litter our airwaves. It was saddening to see, that the media is beating about the whole issue of Shoaib and sania and ayesha being blown out of proportion and being turned into a giant circus while simply sidelining the whole issue of loss of lives to a simple bulletin across the bulletin board. Has humanity died within our hearts and have we lost all empathetic ties to our fellow being in a different part of the country, and all of a sudden a juicy soap opera being played out in real life, is more important than the issues of violence in the country, Someone needs to teach the News channels a thing or two about media ethics.

But still the question remains have we become numb to all the violence? Does us not noticing it or even feeling a slight tinge of the loss of a fellow human's life? Will our ignoring it make the problem go away no it does not all it does is rob us of our humanity.

And what Ive written above is universal, I guess everyone can relate to that.

Lessons from 3 idiots!!

I was watching 3 idiots again, and this movie has such a subtle way of giving you priceless life advice. Although I may not be the only one who has come to this conclusion, but I am just sharing what I learned from this wonderful movie.

1. Pursue excellence Success will Follow: Always strive for excellence and remember perfection is a moving target, the day u think you have achieved perfection is the day progress stops. So remember Success is just a by-product of excellence.
2. Life is Beautiful: Life is a gift and it needs to be cherished and lived to the fullest, don;t die before actually dying.
3. Be passionate: Remember be passionate about what ever you do in life, You must have passion, that will that drive to excel and a will of fire to keep your passion alive.
4. Be the eternal student: Life is an endless journey of learning, never ever for a moment think that you know it all, for life has always something to teach you, and learn from wherever you get the opportunity.
5.  No pressure: Remember life can be stressful don't let the pressure get to you. 
6. EQ (Emotional Quotient) is as important as IQ: many at times people do not give importance to emotional intelligence as to how does one deal with emotional states, proper management of emotions is as vital as Intelligence.
7.  Necessity is the mother of all Inventions: Do i need say more
8. Simplicity in life:  Keep life simple, do not over think situations or make a mountain of a mole hole.
9. Be Dynamic: In today's fast changing world gone are the days of being single faceted individuals you have to be dynamic, and confident to excel.
10. Love is boundless: Trust your partner, and remember love is not bound by time and space, and love is unconditional.
11. How you say it? MATTERS: Often people forget the power of speech, how you something? matters, so think well before you speak and practice the art of good speaking ;for if communication is dead everything is dead.
12. Unleash the Talent within: Within each of us is the capacity to be pioneers but only few of us manage to have the passion and drive to bring out that talent and genius within and excel. So be driven and bring out the genius within.

Time Sure does Fly!!!

It seems like yesterday that I was sitting to give my entrance exams for my undergrad studies and now four years down the road, having survived college, the pressures the class politics, I am now sitting for the final time to give my mid term examinations in my undergrad studies, time sure flies when your having fun.

University life has been an interesting experience to say the least, wrong are the people who say College/university life does not change who you are, you are changed make no mistake about that, some for the better and well some take the wrong road here, but you do change.

as in the words of a very wise man

                " The Only constant in life is change"


 and at times change is necessary for survival, and to succeed, Among many lessons learnt the most important i learned was you need to have the drive to excel and to go beyond just academic excellence, for CGPA is not everything, your confidence and your interpersonal, communication skills are also vital for your survival in today's tough world
